Social creativity: Reviving a social identity approach to social stability

چکیده
Social Identity Theory (SIT) is commonly applied to explain social change. We aim revive interest in the concept of creativity order provide a SIT perspective on bolstering and challenging stability. allows people maintain or achieve positive identity through re-interpreting intergroup relations. Despite this crucial role shaping comparisons, causes effects are largely unknown. To understand how can contribute stability, we argue for return SIT's dynamic nature constantly renegotiating relations, involving both higher- lower-status groups.
